Andorra la VellaThe Association of Property Owners (APBI) has organized a face-to-face debate on the association agreement with the European Union between Jaume Bartumeu and Joan Carles Rodríguez Miñana. The former head of government and lawyer and the notary are two of the public figures who have most forcefully expressed themselves in favor (Bartumeu) and against (Miñana) regarding the position regarding the referendum.
The debate will take place in one of the Illa Carlemany cinemas in Escaldes-Engordany. It will be on December 3 at 12:30 p.m. and entry will be free. Joan Carles Rodríguez Miñana has become possibly the main opponent of the agreement through the networks and has held different controversies with defenders of the vote in favor of the text.
Favorable, but critical
Jaume Bartumeu has been one of the politicians who has been most active in defense of the text and has participated as an observer in the Andorran negotiating group. Bartumeu is clearly in favor, but has shown some disagreement about some aspects of the negotiation and has been particularly critical of the figure of Landry Riba as head of the Andorran negotiating team.
This is one of the debates on the agreement in the coming weeks, since there are others scheduled such as the one organized by the economists where the notary Joan Carles Rodríguez Miñana will also be present.
