He Atlético de Madrid has decided to give the Metropolitan Stadium a new use to celebrate the approaching Christmas. The mattress club has announced the launch of a gigantic skating rink around the playing field with capacity for 1,500 people simultaneously.
Under the name ‘Madrid One Ice’, the rojiblanco stadium will provide a different experience from December 21 to January 5with a runway of approximately 4,760 square meters.
This new activity in the Atlético de Madrid fiefdom It will also have workshops for children and adults.as well as light shows and other surprises to enjoy Christmas.
The experience too will have its own gastronomic offer for the winter season. All those who want to enjoy the ice rink can eat chocolate with churros, roasted chestnuts or cotton candy.
Available times
The Metropolitano ice rink will be open for 12 hours a day, divided into four sessions: in the morning (10:00-13:00), at noon (13:00-16:00), in the afternoon (16:00-19:00) and at night (19:00-22:00). Each shift will last 40 minutes and attendees will have to be there 30 minutes before entering.
The main days of Christmas will have different hours. On December 24 and 31 it will only open in the morning and at noonwhile on January 25 and 1 you can go at noon, in the afternoon and at night.
