It’s official now. This Thursday the Football Federation has confirmed that they are postponed all the matches of matchday 12 of LaLiga EA Sports and matchday 13 of LaLiga Hypermotion that were going to be held in the Valencian Community due to the situation caused by DANA.
The REFE has issued a statement on its social networks informing about this. According to it, a total of five matches between the First and Second Division are suspended and postponed, among which are: Villarreal CF – Rayo Vallecano in La Cerámica, Valencia CF – Real Madrid in Mestalla, CD Castellón – RC Ferrol in Castalia, CD Eldense – SD Huesca in the Nuevo Pepico Amat and Levante UD – Málaga CF in the Ciutat de València.
Likewise, he has also stated that in the two LaLiga competitions a minute of silence is observed in memory of the victims of DANA.
After the request made this Thursday by LaLiga, the RFEF Competition judge has ruled favorably and has accepted the postponement of the aforementioned matches.
In her resolution, the competition judge calls on LaLiga and the affected clubs to formulate before next Tuesday, November 5 at 2:00 p.m. a proposal with new dates for the dispute of the matches Villarreal-Rayo Vallecano, initially scheduled for Saturday the 2nd at 6:30 p.m., and Valencia-Real Madrid, also scheduled for this Saturday at 9:00 p.m.
They are also postponed the matches of the women’s soccer categories, accepting the postponement request of Valencia Féminas-RC Deportivo and Real Madrid CF-Levante UD of the Women’s First Division (League F).
The decision also affects different futsal matches in various categories under the orbit of the RFEF, from the First Division to the Youth Honor Division.
Likewise, the sole judge of non-professional Competitions has determined that various competition matches be postponed. First Federation, First Iberdrola Federation, Second Federation, Second Women’s Federation and Third Federation, both in men’s and women’s competitions.
