A few hours before Spain debuts against the Netherlands in the Davis Cup, all eyes are on Rafa Nadal, who will play his last professional tennis tournament. The Mallorcan shared with Carlos Alcaraz an intense training that makes people excited about the possibility of Spain winning the Davis Cup.
Both tennis players were training together at the MartÃn Carpena in Málaga in one of the last warm-ups prior to the dispute of the quarter-final tie of the tournament.
For an hour they exercised with great intensity playing a training match which ended with the result tied at 4-4. In training you could see a confident Alcaraz after having lost two of the three matches he played at the ATP Finals in Turin.
Likewise, it could be seen that Nadal is prepared to play the tournament at a high level. During the training, Rafa showed himself to be solid on the serve and quick on his legs, although the rest is still complicated. For his part, the Murcian could be seen with his usual game.
“A little more,” Nadal commented in the warm-up. To which Alcaraz did not hesitate to respond: “Very good, Rafa.”
