Andorra la VellaReciclemBé, together with the seven parishes and Pirinenca Services have launched a campaign with the aim of encouraging the active participation of the population in relation to the three ‘R’ (recycle’, reuse and reduce) coinciding with the European Week of waste prevention and focused, more specifically, on coffee capsules.
The street marketing advertising campaign, led by ReciclemBé and with the support of Pirinenca Serveis and the seven communes, seeks to raise awareness among the population about the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling packaging through 100% recycled street furniture under the slogan : ‘Be part of the change’. The aim is to encourage the population to gradually stop consuming capsule coffee, which is responsible for 40,000 tonnes of waste per year, and gradually make the switch to bulk coffee. In order to promote good recycling habits, a giant coffee cup has been placed in each parish, where aluminum and plastic capsules can be taken, in order to be able to recycle them better.
Throughout the week, ReciclemBé, through its social networks and the web, will share with the population a series of eco-tips, news and family activities so that everyone can participate in the European Week of waste prevention and put into practice the ‘3 R’s’.
