Samonte, who had a three-year stint with PLDT, is reunited with former Ateneo teammate Pauline Gaston as she plays for new Chery coach and UAAP Season 86 champion Norman Miguel.
Miguel will be banking on veterans Mylene Paat, Ara Galang, Shaya Adorador, Aby Maraño, and Jasmine Nabor as well as the returning Imee Hernandez, Cess Robles, and Jennifer Nierva.
The Crossovers begin its six-month PVL All-Filipino campaign against Capital1 on November 12 at Philsports Arena.
Chery Tiggo has yet to return to the finals since ruling the first pro tourney in the 2021 Open Conference inside the Ilocos Norte bubble.
