In 2025, the Formula 1 will break the traditional presentation of the new cars by each team. Instead, the ‘Big Circus’ will organize an event at the O2 Arena in London, which will be attended by all the teams, their drivers and crew chiefs.
For the first time in F1 history, the entire grid of 10 teams (Alpine, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Haas, Kick Sauber, McLaren, Mercedes, RB, Red Bull and Williams) and its 20 drivers and respective team leaders will meet on February 18 at the venue of the English capital with the fans to welcome the new season, reveal their designs by 2025 and mark the beginning of the competition’s 75th anniversary year.
The president and CEO of Formula 1, Stefano Domenicaliwas happy because “for the first time” the “20 superstars” of Formula 1 will meet in a presentation, as well as “some very special guests” to give the “official starting signal” for the new season and commemorate the 75th anniversary of the world championship.
For his part, the president of the FIA, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, said that his organization is “delighted to join” the World Cup owners and to all the teams in staging the inaugural event to launch the Formula 1 season. “The occasion will also serve as a fitting prelude to the celebration of the sport’s 75th anniversary throughout the 2025 season,” he said.
