The torrential rains caused by the DANA They caused great devastation in the Valencian Community, leaving behind floods, material damage, destroyed homes, missing cars and fatalities. This disaster is considered the worst environmental catastrophe in Spain So far this century, however, over the last two weeks, several solidarity initiatives have emerged to recover critical information stored on electronic devices and computer systems, restore photo albums, locate lost cars and provide help to those affected.
Despite the solidarity of the population, there are always those who take advantage of disasters, either to scam users through text messages or for spread false information.
In line with the latter, with the increase in misinformation and with the objective of avoiding it, an expert in generative artificial intelligence and marketing, called Raúl Ordóñez, has created the digital tool ‘DANA Valencia Verifier’.
What it is and how it works ‘DANA Valencia Verifier’
‘DANA Valencia Verifier’ is a ChatGPT that prevents the spread of hoaxes by using information from official sources —such as the Ministry of the Interior, Civil Protection, Maldita and Newtral— to offer an accurate assessment of the news.
