Andorra la VellaThe National Housing Institute (INH) has opened the public tender to award the 27 affordable rental homes located in the Tobira building in Andorra la Vella. The process starts this Monday with the publication in the BOPA and people who are registered in the register of affordable housing applicants before January 7, 2025 can take part in the call.
For this purpose and from this date, depending on the composition of the household and the type of housing available, the INH will individually notify each family unit entered in the register that are likely to comply with the requirements to inform them of this call. Accepted individuals and families may express their wish to participate in the award process before January 21, 2025.
The homes that will be awarded in this call are a total of 27 floors and have different surfaces and, therefore, also different affordable initial prices. In this sense, the flats range from almost 40 square meters to almost 96 square meters, with an affordable starting price of 416.38 and 992.60 euros, respectively.
The income from the transfer of the use of the house is equivalent to 30% of the regular income without in any case exceeding the market price minus 25%. Families who cannot cover the affordable price of housing can be beneficiaries of rental housing aid that covers the difference, as long as they meet the requirements to enjoy it.
About the register of affordable housing applicants
The process of evaluating a registration can take up to two months and given the forecast of upcoming public offers, people and families who need affordable housing are encouraged to submit the corresponding application to register in the Register and so they can aspire to an award.
