Andorra la VellaPensions below the interprofessional minimum wage (SMI) will increase in 2025 by twice the CPI with which this year has closed. This is one of the amendments that the Democratic and Committed Citizens parliamentary groups have presented to Bill of the budget for the year 2025which were detailed this Thursday in a press conference by the president and deputy president of the democratic group, Jordi Jordana and Maria Martisella; and by president of the CC group, Carles Naudi d’Areny-Plandolit.
Due to this amendment, those insured who have one pension lower than 1,431 eurosthe figure in which the Government has stipulated the SMI for next year, they will see how their pension is revalued twice as much as the increase in the cost of living.
Another of the amendments presented by the two parliamentary groups seeks that the natural persons considered entrepreneurs and self-employed professionalswhich have some total income of less than 150,000 euros per yearare again exempt from presenting their accounts. This is a measure that has been applied for some time, through extensions from year to year, but through this amendment to the budget bill it is sought establish permanently.

On the other hand, and responding to commitment taken by the majority groups to reduce the use of the budget to modify other legislative texts, are included nine amendments in this direction. From compliance with the Government of Andorra, it has been decided delete some of the final provisions of the text.
The motivation is that it is currently in the parliamentary process bills that deal with the matters dealt with in the provisionsor because they are modifications that will have to be made in the framework of another legislative procedure.
The provisions deal with social and socio-health services, the Andorran Social Security Fund (CASS) and people with disabilities, among others. Other measures will be modified through the Bill amending various rules in the field of justicecurrently in the amendment processing period.
On the other hand, there are also amendments to the budget to establish agreements between the Police and Fire Departments with the General Administration, so that it can stay exempt from paying the public price when your service is requested in non-urgent cases. This possibility would also be open to public and parapublic companies.
As for parapublic entities, the majority groups propose to increase 70,000 euros in FEDA Solutions for the installation of public chargers for electric vehicles. A measure that seeks to continue promoting the energy transition in the country.
