The dizzying route in Huesca along a natural balcony with bird’s-eye views

One of the best destinations in Spain for go hiking is the province of Huesca and there is no doubt about that. Flower Belt Route

The Flower Belt Route is high difficultywith a duration of 7 hours and 15 kilometers of route. The starting point is the Ordesa Prairiewhere we will find a parking lot and an information point. From here we will begin to walk in the direction of the Cotatuero ravine, entering a thick forest.

We will pass through a wooden shelter and follow the signs that direct us to the Rolando Gap and the Pegs of Cotatuero. Each time, the path will be steeper, until we reach these pegs embedded in the rock wall and equipped with a steel safety cable. This step will test our vertigo, raising our adrenaline to the maximum.

From here the path continues uphill until reaching the Flower Belt, an impressive balcony about 3 kilometers long at the top of the Ordesa Valley. The views from here are simply breathtaking, with a sea of ​​mountains and vegetation before us and the abyss beneath our feet.

After passing under a large rock, we will reach the end of the strip and begin to descend. At one point, we will have to go through the Salarons pegscarefully clinging to the rock wall. Finally, we will reach a dense forest that will take us back to the parking lot.
