These are the 32 questions and information that you will have to answer when traveling through Spain

As of this Monday, the “traveller registry” is in forcea measure that aims to formalize the completion of a document that records basic personal data of all those people that, when traveling, stay in hotel establishments or accommodation identified as such or rent a vehicle on their trips.

In addition to traveler data, hosting companies or the rented vehicle must be sent to the authorities your own data (name, NIF, address), in addition to establishment details and of the transactionsuch as date and time of entry and exit of the traveler, payment information…

The data that must be provided when registering travelers in Spanish hotels

These are all the data that must be provided when traveling through Spain and staying in a hotel or tourist apartment, as contemplated in the text of the standard published in the BOE:

Leasing company details

  • Name or company name of the owner.
  • CIF or NIF.
  • Municipality.
  • Province.
  • Landline and/or mobile phone.
  • Email address.
  • Company website.
  • URL to identify the ad

Establishment details

  • Type of establishment.
  • Denomination.
  • Complete address.
  • Zip code.
  • Town and province.

Traveler data

  • Name
  • First surname.
  • Second surname.
  • Sex.
  • Identity document number.
  • Document support number.
  • Type of document (DNI, passport, TIE).
  • Nationality.
  • Birthdate.
  • Place of habitual residence (full address, town, country).
  • Landline telephone.
  • Mobile phone.
  • Email.
  • Number of travelers.
  • Kinship relationship between travelers (in the event that one is a minor).

Transaction data

  • Contract details: reference number, date and signatures.
  • Contract execution data: date and time of entry and exit.
  • Property details: full address, number of rooms, availability (or not) of Internet.
  • Payment details: type (cash, card, payment platform…), identification of the payment method (type of card and number, IBAN of the bank account…), holder of the payment method, expiration date of the card, date of payment.

Who must present the data?

According to the provisions of the standard, they are the establishment ownerswhether lodging or vehicle rental, who should collect the data of users and proceed with registration and communication on the platform enabled for this by the Ministry of the Interior: SES Accommodation.
