Andorra la VellaOn the occasion of the International Day of People with Disabilities, which is celebrated every December 3, the Government – together with the Federation of Associations of Persons with Disabilities (FAAD) – has organized the conference ‘The limit is set by you’ , by the athlete Àlex Roca.
The event will take place on December 3 this year at 7pm in the auditorium of the Andorra la Vella Congress Centre. The event is free and all members of the public are invited to attend by purchasing tickets in advance on the 4tickets platform.
Àlex Roca, known for having completed a marathon despite his physical disability of 76%, will share his life experience and his motivational message, focused on the power of determination, resilience and breaking down barriers. This conference seeks to raise awareness in society and highlight the capabilities of people with disabilities, as well as the need to continue working for a more inclusive society.
The commemoration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities is an opportunity to remember the importance of guaranteeing universal access to education, work, leisure, sport and all areas of public life. Precisely, the act is another example of the Government’s commitment to the objectives of sustainable development and the principles contained in the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
