A strong explosion has caused a great noise in an industrial warehouse of the Climber company in Ibi, located in the L’Albir industrial estate, in Alicante. Emergency services focus on searching for workers who may have been trapped inside the facility. At the moment it is unknown if there have been any deaths.
The causes of the event are unknown, although eyewitnesses have stated that ABCthe roar has been felt as if it were an earthquake. As stated by the same source, the detonation caused construction materials and other objects to fly, causing damage to several parked vehicles.
The Emergency Coordination Center has assured that they have traveled to the place seven fire crewsa medical helicopter, three SAMU and four SVB, as well as the Local Police and the Generalitat police.
