Escaldes-EngordanyThe Colors of Music program this summer has been a success. This is demonstrated by the numbers of attendees of the thirty activities that have been organized by the Commune of Escaldes-Engordany from July to the beginning of September. This year, both the proposals for music, dance and shows and the number of attendees have increased compared to last year. In total, almost 5,200 people have enjoyed the Colors of Music activities, a number that exceeds the nearly 4,500 attendees who registered last year.
As for the concerts, a total of around 2,400 attendees enjoyed the music on the different stages of the parish that were organized. The success of the night of silence and the Night of the 80s concert!, which managed to fill the capacity of Plaça CoprÃnceps, as well as the good reception of Judit Neddermann’s concert, should be highlighted. Also the concert of the winner of the EscaldesSound at Espai Caldes and the organ concert by Rui Pava within the 25th International Orgue&nd Festival at the Sant Pere Mártir Church were very special and brought together a large audience.
Regarding the shows, it is important to highlight the success of the theatrical visits. Thus, both Tourists and bathers and Bridge to Bridge exceeded the expectations of attendees and have already established themselves as an interesting offer to show the traditions of the parish. In total, more than 1,900 people enjoyed some of the Colors de Música shows and traditions, which also included the sardane ballad and the Esbart Santa Anna festival, which was held in the Prat del Roure room. A few days later, the scaldan revelry also filled Plaça CoprÃnceps.
Continuing with the dance, we should also highlight the success of the dance Mondays, which brought together more than 860 attendees, with shows such as the Traginers de pulsions of the Associació d’Arts Escéniques or KoLAbC, by LÃquid Dansa and Àlex Orona, between others
Finally, during the summer months, different activities have also been organized around the exhibitions that are still active at the CAEE with ‘The 80s’ and at Espai Caldes with ‘Dissenys habitats’. Both exhibitions can still be visited. In the case of the first until October 5, while that of Espai Caldes will last until the 26th of the same month.
