Andorra la VellaThe Parliament of Catalonia unanimously approved this Thursday the proposal of the Commons to maintain the discount on public transport until the end of 2025. This measure benefits all people who use public transport in the Pyrenees, with discounts of up to 50% in the acquisition of a transport pass for both the Lleida ATM buses and those connecting our territory to Barcelona, ​​or the train lines. Guaranteeing free transport for children under the age of 16 throughout Catalonia, and studying and promoting the implementation of a single card system, with a flat and affordable rate, to move throughout the territory and all public means of transport, are approved measures also yesterday in Parliament that they will have a very significant impact on the Pyrenean lands.
Promoting the tram between Seu d’Urgell and Andorra was a proposal that had the favorable votes of all the parties in the Catalan Chamber (132 votes), with the exception of Aliança Catalana, which abstained (2 votes).
