In the letter sent this Friday by García Ortiz to the president of the Justice Commission Board, Yolanda Ibarrola, the attorney general has indicated that “commitments already scheduled” They prevent him from going to the Senate on the 4th, as well as on December 18, another of the dates that he himself had offered to the senators for his appearance.
Nevertheless, García Ortiz assures his “absolute availability” to go to the next period of sessions to, he points out, “present the 2023 Report on the activity of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.”
For the PP, however, the attorney general, who is accused of a crime of revealing secrets“flees” from the Senate so as not to give explanations for his “scandals.”
Popular sources speak of “attorney general on the run” and they accuse him of having “laughed” at the laws, at the Penal Code, at his colleagues “and now he does it at all Spaniards escaping from the Upper House.”
